    Been there...done that.....

I feel your pain. I had a very similar situation last year that was really draining. I have to admit that I added to the problem because I felt 1. a sense of responsibility and 2. probably a little bit of pride that they wanted to all play in our house. I let the problem continue until it was really out of control.

All I can say is take care of this now....I would start by turning the kids down at the door or simply limiting the amount of time that they can spend in your home. If you tell them no a few times they will stop coming over. It of course, does not solve the problem that people simply aren't watching their children but you are no longer responsible. Isn't it awful that people just let their kids roam the neighborhood?

I would be very careful about this.....especially the older two. If they aren't supervised well enough to have regular meals, then who knows what they have been exposed to in their lives.....I wouldn't want my little ones around them unless I could be there ALL THE TIME.

However, in the spirit of "do as I say, not as I would do", I would probably end up letting them in, too, because it would be fun for my kids, and because it seems a shame that the other kids aren't being taken care of by someone. I think Kris knows what she is talking about in this situation, though.....I would go with her opinion.
