After being in Costco today it reminded me of this post. I am a sucker for some of clothes there. They have Carter's fleece sleepers for $6 and the cutest Laura Ashley stuff right now. We frequent Target, Old Navy, Gap and Land's End. A Jack and Janie store just opened up here. So cute! Unfortunately DD#1 gets stuck on one shirt for an extended period of time. She has been wearing an orange Halloween shirt everyday for the past 4 months. A recent purchase has usurped the Halloween shirt, but she has worn it straight for almost two weeks. I have managed to sneak in a couple washings. She won't wear pjs either. I keep wanting to start a thread to post pictures of some of the outfits my DD puts together. Today was orange, green and pink flowered t-shirt with striped leggings. Very creative! I guess I save money, but she has some really cute clothes she has never touched! DH and I refuse to buy anything else until she grows out of this stage. Luckily, we have gotten many hand-me-downs. We still have hope for DD#2.

Jennifer,
Your Avery is a pistol! I love hearing about her escapades. I know, you're groaning, thinking: "laugh it up, you'll get yours too". Yup, we choose our battles in this household too.

Originally posted by shellaAs I type, DD is wearing footie pj's, a swimming suit over the top, boots, and a sun glasses. I love the creativity! And it makes for great pictures.
Last week a mom at the girls' school commented on how she loved my children's "interesting" outfits that they usually wear to school. I pretty much let them have free reign, unless we are going to church, and they have come up with some doozies! I took what she said as a compliment, but I'm not really sure how she meant it.Awake is the new sleep!
