  • Mine, mine, mine

The kids have taught Aidan a new word: "mine".

In the first couple of days, he seemed to have a great time recognizing that things were his! "Mine" became the word of the day and then things settled down...until he decided that the 'milkies' (aka breasts) were "mine". Now he has been running around screaming 'mine' and squeezing his hands in the air everytime he wants to nurse .

Last night, he was shrieking 'mine, mine' and chasing me and so I laid down with him. Thomas said "hey buddy, those are mine" and jokingly tried to get them away from him and Aidan screamed bloody murder!

I guess when they scream "mine" it's time to wean!

Keelin also says "miney" for everything!!! Fortunately, she weaned herself, although I REALLY miss it sometimes That is HYSTERICAL, though! I just get the vision of your little guy racing all around the house with his hands doing a squeeze motion in the air and laughing!!!!!
