    Validation

    My mom is here this week for the ds's Spring break. When I got home from work yesterday my unshowered mother proclaimed, "I didn't have time to do anything but feed and diaper the kids all day long!".

    Mom is fantastic and the kids are enjoying her visit. I have to say that her realization makes me feel so much better about myself. I've always felt like some sort of domestic misfit and I feel bad about it. Hey, who knew, kids take up a lot of time and energy!

    Hey, who knew, kids take up a lot of time and energy!
    After having the kids home all day today, I would like to change this statement to say that "Hey, who knew, kids take up all my time and energy!" At least in my case. Why anyone wonders why there is no time or energy for hanky-panky is beyond me.
