  • I think he's hungover...

From the frosting Nikolai had at his "make-up" birthday party last night. Yeah, sure it was funny to watch him immerse himself in red and blue frosting and he certainly enjoyed it. However, having had a hangover or two in my day, I recognize the signs and symptoms of overindulgence. He certainly is acting like a jerk this morning.

Note to self: frosting is now OFF limits until he lives on his own and can buy and frost his own birthday cake....

Just put the frosting down, man....

I hope he recovers soon. Might just be my imagination, but I think that a high protein snack (egg or turkey, etc) helps my kids through the sugar low.

I second what Nelly said!! If he won't eat a snack, maybe even drinking a cup of milk will help. Apparently as nurses now, we're supposed to give our diabetic patients a glass of milk (rather than OJ) when the sugar is low!
