Jenn, Nick is absolutely adorable. How did you manage to get a baby that actually looks like both of you?

We have heard that part of the 'wait' is that the powers that be actually do try to match parental features. Our friends who adopted two weeks ahead of us got a curly haired brunette (like the mom). At my Mom's Night Out on Thursday, they all brought pictures and more often than not the kids looked very much like their parents.

Once we were in a Trader Joe's and some woman stopped Rick and told him that Nikolai looked "Just Like" him. It's kinda wierd. Even wierder though is that he has some of the funny personality quirks that we have. (like he takes apart his sandwiches and eats them in layers, like I do- and I swear, I haven't modeled this behavior...)
