  • What our kids say about us....

Today DH took DS's 21 y.o. male swim instructor to work to show him around the hospital, meet people, and chat about the profession. At lunch, our son's swim instructor told him that one day when he asked our son how his baby sister was doing, he replied, "Not really good, all she wants to do is suck on mommy's booby all day long."

I'm sure that I was smiling at my son in ignorant bliss all the while....

Mental note to self---call it "MILKY"!!!

I am laughing with you, of course.

I can't even imagine someof what DD might say. She has told people that DH is a "sin" doctor (instead of a skin doctor). Maybe they think he is a minister?

That is the funniest thing I have heard all week!! You'll have to write that one down in his scrapbook!

One of my nurses came back from taking her four year-old to the pediatrician. She was hysterical about how she was going to lose her license and he was going to be taken away and DHS was going come storming through our doors-

Because when asked how things were going at home, he said "my mommy beats me..."

Needless to say, when she had calmed down enough to listen, I told her to call the doc and see what he said. He said "I knew he was just going to get a rise out of you. Relax."

Talk about a panic attack. Poor woman. The funniest part about it was when she was asking her son about why he said that, she told him how serious it was and then used me as the bad guy. She told him I'd have to fire her if she lost her license! (true but I didn't want to be the bad guy!)
