Kid Germs

Oy! Last week we were at a kid thing billed "The Great Adventure" when it really should have been called "Get Your Free Germs Here". They had a pretend stream that the kids could cross, and flippers and SCUBA MASKS for the kids to put on. Yes - plastic masks to put on one snotty face after another. As DS#2 was putting his on I said to my friend "Eew - he'll be sick tomorrow", 2 days later he was. Then his brother. Now me - and it always hits the adult harder than the kid.

I am so anal, my 9 month old has yet to be sick...I know that means he will be sick in 2 hours but I so fear the first cold, sickness, or bug.

I used to try to keep DD away from as much as that stuff as I could too. Now thats not as realistic, so I wash her hands (and mine) like crazy.
