Lately DD just sings and talks through her whole nap. Not one month ago,she was still napping twice a day. For the love of God, I am not ready to give up the nap yet!!!! She is 20 months old.

Mine varies- some days it's a three hour nap, others he just plays in his crib. No matter what, he's in his room from 1-3 everyday. If he doesn't want to sleep, that's fine, but Mom needs a break/

PS- he plays just fine in his crib- listens to his music, 'reads' his books, etc.

I hope you get a few more months of naps for your sake!
DD quit entirely around 2 1/2 years and started slowing down on the naps around 2yo.
I agree with what others say -- if you can get her to have some quiet time reading or playing in her crib, keep with that. She might go back to napping and the familiarity of afternoon crib time would help, IMO.

We've gone through several months of this at three different times with my three year old. I wouldn't panic... I bet it's a phase.Flynn
