  • waking up on the wrong side of the bed

My older son slept rather late today (for him): 8:15AM. He was supposed to be at school @ 8:30, but I called and told them we'd be late. It's a montessori / daycare, so they don't have a break at all. I figured I'm still paying - so he's still going.

    Anyway ...

He came downstairs in the foulest mood I've seen in AGES. He hit is brother on the way to his seat at the table, spilled his water cup and broke into tears saying there was no more water for him, and once I got him to bring me the cup so I could refill, he took the towel I gave him to clean up the spill and swatted his brother in the face! I sent him upstairs until he could be human ... not sure when I'm gonna let him come down.

    Wow-

Maybe he needs a cup of coffee? (kidding but I sure feel that way sometimes before the joe...)

There could be worse things that missing a day of school and being forced to help your mother clean and get ready for the holidays. (Kris' Shock and Awe therapy)

Don't you love those days? Get he to the montessori and thee to the mall! My kids are in good moods today, but I am in the foulest of moods.

Think he is getting sick? I like Sue's idea -- take him to school and go to the mall. Better yet, go to the mall with Sue!

My 5 yo has spent more time crying than anything else this morning. It's only 7:30am. :thud:
