  • Potty Training Success!!!!!

OK...so I have to tell our success story! How did "IT" finally happen? I gave up...I stopped thinking about it, suggesting it, etc. My husband had decided that Alex would enter school in diapers.....

And then one day, Alex came to me, took my hand and told me that he had to go to the potty I took him, he went...and the rest is history...we have not gone back to the diapers since then.....and we had just bought and opened a new pack the night before

The really funny thing now is watching the boy potty thing going on...now that Alex is trained, he and Andrew like to "stand and deliver" at the same time

That is GREAT news! How nice that it was that simple!! I hope Dallin does that!!!! Just think ... you just got a raise! No more diapers!!!!! I realized that I have been changing diapers every day (except for a couple of two-day vacations when someone watched my kids) for over 10 years!!!!! The day Dallin becomes potty trained there will be a HUGE party!!!!

    Way to go Alex!!!

Hurray!!!! It was the same for my Gracie. I persuaded, urged, bribed. Nothing worked. In the end, I gave up (she was 2 and a half). A week or so later, she decided it was time for her to go in the potty... Now, here's the question: would she (and Alex) have decided it was "time" for them to go in the potty if I (and you) had not spent so much time and energy training them? It's s chicken or egg thing. My guess is that all the mother's work DOES have something to do with it!!!
