  • Good after school games?

Can anyone throw some suggestions my way? I'm looking to find some good after school activities/games to set up for the kids and do with them after school to reduce our tv time......we've fallen into a bit of a tv trap lately...

We have fallen into the tv trap too...It is the end of a long winter and we're out of ideas. It will be nice to let the kiddies run outside again.

Off the top of my head ... we play games like Uno, Bingo or dominoes. My kids absolute favorite game in the world is hide-and-seek in the dark. Of course, this would have to be later instead of right after school. The person who is it gets a flashlight to find everyone. No one can jump out and scare the others either so no one gets scared. That's the game they choose every day! I don't have any more hiding places!

Okay I will have to think about this ... I am in Arizona so I send my kids outside to the trampoline!

Outside to the trampoline...wow, that sounds cool!!!!! Unfortunately, we're caved in with 3-6 foot drifts in the backyard....I'm afraid if I sent them out, they'd sink to the ground and I'd have to call in a search and rescue team

The winter is just getting to me now.....I'm ready for the kids to be able to go outside and play....and I've gotten pretty lame about after school anything except Nickelodeon

Yesterday we pulled out a bunch of old board games and we even played Chutes and Ladders backwards...now that's boredom!

Dominoes sounds like a good idea...and I think I've got a bingo game downstairs in one of the boxes in the basement....hmmmmmmmmmm
