  • Baby Sling

I just started using a Baby Sling (Nojo) today and am super-psyched about it. My baby quietly "rode" for about an hour and a half (no crying!!!) and then dropped off for her nap (put her in the crib for that). So far I am totally in love with this thing! Does anyone else have experience with baby slings: tips, advice, pros, cons? I think this is a pretty darned good thing in the tiny amount of time I've used it.

    Jennifer,

I have no experience with slings but I'm definitely going to try one next time. It seems like a wonderful way to bond. Let us know what you think.

My husband "wore" the baby the day before yesterday after he got home from work and really thought it was cool. He kept commenting on what a great dad he was to be carrying around the baby while he did housework But seriously, I appreciated the help and he may now find himself wearing his newist child quite often! It's kind of hard to argue with the truth - even though I can't admit he's right about just how great and helpful he is because of the enormous head he'd get. But, the sling seems to be a handy tool and it is much more practical and easy than a stroller in my opinion. So, I guess I'm still like'n it after using it for a few days so far. One drawback: can't use it while you cook (baby is at stove/knife chopping height) and my child ALWAYS seems to want to be held when I have to feed my other kids!!!
