DD spent her first night last night in the big girl bed. I dont think she realized she could get down at the time. I put her down for her nap an hour ago, and just peeked in. She has unpacked her entire dresser and sorted it into piles all over the room. I keep hearing her running around the room but she is being strangely silent- I think she is afraid I will find out she isnt in bed. I sincerely hope this isnt the end of her napping!

Yep, the novelty will wear off.

Wow, she must be an organized kid! That's cute, and hopefully the others are right that it will wear off, soon. For some reason, it never occured to our kids to get out of bed, so I never had to deal with that.

The clothing sorting reminds me of my oldest. She loved doing that.

I'll bet that she gets bored and takes a nap. That or she is used to having some quiet time in her room.
