You know it's time to potty train your son when.....

Our friend was getting putting clean sheets on Brigham's bed when he said "I need to go potty." So she puts the sheets down, and says ok come on. Well she waits and waits, no Brigham. She peaks her head into his room to find the little guy AIMING and PEEING at his bed! He seemed to get most of it on the frame. When our friend got everything cleaned up and Brigham into bed, Brigham says "We don't pee on our bed anymore. Oh no, no."

Dh says we need to pay her more, and I agree especially after this.

I can't help but wonder about the thought processes in these little heads. I mean, where did he get that idea? At least he knows it's a "no no" now.

      Good luck!!!

        Good luck!

I had a similar "aha" experience when my then two and a half year old whipped it out to pee down the heating grate! Ummm, I think that you get the concept of the urinal, so we're gonna go with that....

            Crystal -
I just got back from the store loading up on the 'big boy underwear' and we are going cold turkey tomorrow with the potty training! Good luck to you!! (My DS still tries to convince me that DD's being potty trained should count for him too... hmmm, some things twins just CAN'T do for each other!!). I am dreading the next 24 hours... Let me know if anything works for you!!
