... Definitely NOT this household!! Here is our situation today... in the car, baby having fever for third day and NOT happy, twins very stir crazy and NOT happy, mom about ready to pull everyone's hair out, including my own!! We are driving home from a very long bout of errands and meetings. Twins get in a fight. Seth bites Sarah (he has been in and out of this phase - driving us crazy!), mom, in a gut reaction, reaches back and gives a little spank to his leg to get him to stop and says (in her not-so-nice-voice), "stop biting!" Now he cries. I say, "don't bite!" He says, "but mom, you HIT me!" (we have also been on a big crusade to get him to stop hitting, a HUGE no-no in our house.).
Ummm, Ya.... great example being taught there. When we stopped the car we had to do a little 'tri-sorry' episode, Seth sorry for biting Sarah, mommy sorry for 'hitting' Seth.
I do have to say that it ended cute, we all hugged and Seth said, "Mommy, you make me happy!" (something that we tell them after they have said sorry for something they have done). Ya, I felt about 2 inches tall.
Ya... no gold medal winners here today. Sometimes I wish I could go back to being the kid again, just for a day .
