  • The new bike.

Finny got her first bike yesterday. Last year, when Andrew was riding, even though she was 5, she was too afraid to give it a go. Yesterday, Thomas ran over her scooter and demolished it. He went to get another scooter for her and came across a girls bike with training wheels on sale for $25 and snatched it. She was afraid to do anything but put her helmet on and walk with it for awhile, so we left her to her own devices and didn't pressure her...and now I can't get her off of it. I'm just in from being outside with her all morning.......wow!

Just when you think they will never accomplish the next milestone, they do it and never look back. I know that this milestone, like every other one, has to be just a little bittersweet for you. They grow up too fast.
