  • Holding my kids captive

It is a beautiful day, but...

I have locked us all inside in order to fully clean the house today. Why does this take me so long, like a full day? Sigh...clean a mess, make a mess, clean a mess, make a mess....

...in case anyone noticed that I am logged on here most of today.

    Where's the **Phhhfft** emoticon??

    Me too!

I don't care if anyone perishes from boredom, these floors will be mopped!

I do have ulterior motives for the cleaning and laundering frenzy. I'm visiting friends this weekend to leave DH home alone to study. I'm eliminating distractions. House is clean, laundry done, food in the fridge....STUDY.

I hear you. I feel like all i do is clean up the same things over and over. I am a naturally messy person and it is hard to change that.

My house has looked like a bomb went off in it for the last week. Seriously, the health department would shut us down in a heartbeat!

But, rather than cleaning up the mounting mess, we went out and played yesterday (and the day before). I don't think we'll be playing outside today - I really do have to clean now - before I lose the baby in a pile of "stuff".
