A little premature.....

My mom works for a perinatologist and snuck me into the ultrasound office to take a peek at our little bundle. I am 15 weeks and they were pretty sure of the gender....

What do you think it is?

Since they couldn't tell us until 20 weeks despite weekly u/sounds and many "money shots", I'm guessing it must be the more obvious boy!

Congratulations! I would have thought boy too since the US was so sure. Uh oh, your dh is SO outnumbered!

Thanks... One of the tell tale signs was that the little protusion was missing and there were three lines (for the labia) which were apparent in our other pregnancy u/s. We will have our scheduled ultrasound in 3 weeks to get the confirmatory results.

Surprisingly, I started crying when I found out because although I thought I wanted a girl, I felt mournful that I will never have a son since this is our last baby. I never thought I would fell sad over the finality of it all. We are excited no less. Now I am on my way back to real life in Indiana. It was nice to escape for a few days.

I'm thrilled for you, but I do understand the disappointment of kind of hoping for that other gender. When I was pg with Aidan we had all kind of hoped for a little girl....but...he is the apple of everyone's eye...and now I wouldn't have him any other way!
