That is amazing Jenn, how exciting and difficult it must be for you. I can only imagine the rewards when things go well.

Poor Tyler! How is he doing today, Robin? You are such a great mother!! You have your hands full with those boys! You made me so nostalgic when you talked about sitting around the table with snackies and talking about the school day! We used to do that around dinner and it was so much fun! How is Jacob doing?

Jenn - you are the woman, hands down. I have so much admiration for what you do! My roommate from college worked with some kids with that syndrome. Are things getting better? They'll have it down by fall break!

        Robin-

So- what's the daily update? We have got to meet for lunch or something!

        Jenn

PS- Thanks for the accolades, gang but really- this is all I've ever done and trust me- for the most part it's FUN! You parents are the ones with the tough job! I get to go home at night and turn it all off!!

          Jenn,

What a challenge for you...you definately do win the caring counselor...hands down

Robin, how did the week end? We are now having the back-to-school anxiety break out in our oldest We had such a good summer, with only one small episode of anxiety...we really thought that perhaps we had it licked....Everything was find until Thursday..meet the teachers night. Andrew started acting funny and after going to the school and seeing the teacher/school, the behavior has increased. He is acting like a 3 year old ..screaming, whining, having temper tantrums...even lashing out at Finny and Alex. Initially, I was ticked off at him, but now I can see how panicked and afraid he is. He has been sleeping with his old stuffed animal and is overly emotional....he couldn't find his bike today and worked himself up into hysterics and tears (it was on the porch). I'm having to really pull back and I feel sort of like I'm in crisis management mode...I am having to really spend a lot of extra time soothing him and I feel a bit panicked myself now about the start of the year :/
