  • The Best Way to Describe how Quinn looks

My babysitter was visiting the other night with her two sisters, and the 4 of us were downstairs talking. My in-laws were still here, and it was the first time Kaitlin had ever met / seen them. Her sisters have never met my kids, but the boys were already in bed. Kaitlin was talking about Quinn, and said:

"If you want to know how Quinn looks, picture that old dude upstairs combined with Jenn."

I never thought about it -- but she's right. Kind of freaky, and very funny.

As in a combo of your fil and you? Yeah, that kind of freaks me out as well.

yep - worst part is, it's totally accurate. I've always seen my FIL in him, and Quinn is the one of the two boys who people say looks most like me -- and once Kaitlin put it that way I realized she was right. Plus, hearing my FIL referred to as "that old guy upstairs" was pretty damn funny.

That was the part that really got me -- and that it was in reference to a 4 year old.

I would have to agree that Quinn has more of you than Jacob--I can't pinpoint it exactly, but as much as a little beige child can resemble a white woman...he does have some sort of "Jenn-like" quality about him.
