  • Woops!

Well, I almost made it through 4 pregnancies without heading to the maternity ward before I was actually in labor! Friday night (after a day of contractions no matter whether I was lying down, up and about, drinking fluids), we ended up going up to the hospital. The embarassing part is what felt like a pretty uncomfortable contraction barely showed up as a blip on their monitor! Oh well, the plus side is that the nurse said I should spend the weekend laying around doing nothing and I have done just that! At any rate, I was relieved to not actually be in labor, since I'm only into my 32nd week.
    Awake is the new sleep!

Don't be too hard on yourself. I think you were being perfectly calm about it and I kind of raised the hysteria level b/c I was freaked out about it. You might have just let it go if I hadn't called you 4 times on Friday.

    Glad it was nothing.

Sue, glad to hear everything is ok. I am glad you have a bonified reason to relax (as if it wasn't there before!) Take care...
