About the car- they overnighted us a new temp tag the day before it expired. Still no word about when they are going to send the official registration papers

About the discharge- when we had DD1, they offered to d/c us after 8 hours ( this was in california). After having been woken up aevery 15 minutes by the nurse, the other nurse, the photographer, the anesthesiologist, the pediatrician, the ob, etc etc we said heck yeah. This time, right after she was born we asked for an early d/c. The pediatricians had a conference about it ( apparently) and said since DH is a dawkter there, and we had no risk factors, it was ok as a very special exception as long as we went to the pediatrician first thing Monday AM to get the newborn labs. They didnt make us sign AMA- I am too much of a rule follower for that. I cant tell you how nice it was to sleep in my own bed, eat my own food and not have my blood pressure checked every 15 minutes (and get the exact same reading each time).
