Alexia (love my girl's name, absolutely LOVE it ).
    Audrey
    Anne (my girl's middle name)

I love girl names that begin with A.

These all sound different, all a different amount of syllables, but they share the first letter which I think is cool.

        MOIRA?

No offense if anyone here has used that name.

Yeah, I kind of like it.

It's old-fashioned and kind of perty.

          To each her own!

It must be the Irish Catholics in my neighborhood all rubbing off on me....

I actually like Moira, and Marah, and Maren ...

I LOVE Ruby, specifically Ruby Jane was my plan. But then my girlfriend told me everone would call her Ruby-boobie. I also love Zoe.

I love Magdalina, with the intention of calling her Maggie (can't go the Margaret route ... too much family stuff).

            For Hindi names:

            Elina (woman of intelligence)
            Maya (god's creative spirit)
love Sandhya (created just to enhance the universe) but it is SIL's name and we could NEVER go there.

I haven't had much need for girl names ...

There's always the latest celebrity trendy names. You could do:

              Banana
              Boopsy
Three, Four, and Five (or really screw people up and call them Seven, Eight, Nine)

and, of course, there's the biblical trend:

              Judas
              Potipher
              God

              Just thought I'd be helpful!

                Kathleen
Jennifer (two of us) (and on behalf of the 18 Jennifer's on this site, please, let one generation catch a break)

I used to like Moira but that is the name of the person we bought this house from and she sort of ruined the name. Don't you hate it when that happens?

My second cousin is named Magdalia, similar to Magdalena.

For your amusement, our list of rejected girls' names. Some of these I think are lovely and were rejected only becuase they clash with our last name, some I like but think are a little too out-there to actually saddle a child with, and some I now look at and think WTH? I'll leave it to you to imagine which are which.

I could never name my kid Magdalena - it's the mermaid from Wiggle Bay - I'd always have in my head the voice of Henry the octopus saying "MagdaleEeEna"

                              Thelma, Melva and Marge.

Sue Anne for at least one.

                              I love the name Jamison.

If you are into names that could go either way I have recently met little girls named Bryce and Ryan. I tried to think of another strong name to go along with that- maybe Hayden?
                              Mom to three wild women.
