  • Pregnant Klutz

I am such a Klutz lately. My center of gravity must be off. I keep tripping over my feet, a couple weeks ago I feel off my bike (a runner cut me off and I wiped out in the wet grass) and today I feel down the stairs (the last three or four). I have a long way to fall because I am almost 5'10. DH won't appreciate seeing this baby for at least 14 weeks so I hope I can keep it together.

Oh, no! Are you ok, Jennifer? Thank goodness the grass was there to pad your fall from your bike. Maybe your klutziness is a good reason to kick up your feet and watch a little tv.

I'm klutzy when I'm not pregnant, so you can just imagine what I'm like! My dh won't even let me on a bike! The worst was when I burned my stomach when I was cooking (still have a scar) during my last pregnancy. This time around, I'm just plowing into corners, doorways, etc. The other night, when I got up to go to the bathroom in a half daze I walked right into the wall.
      Awake is the new sleep!

A runner cut you off? Good grief...I hope they at least stopped to help you up. Somehow this is reminiscent now of the grand round thread about pedestrians/drivers!

I agree...it's time for you to kick up those feet and be waited on

No more biking or climbing up and down stairs. I would also suggest that vacuuming, cooking and cleaning of any kind are dangerous as well. :> Rest, Jenn....take it easy!

Jenn, wow. Glad you are okay! A tumble down the stairs is always scary, esp if you are pregnant.

I agree. Take it easy and park your butt on the couch.

Go sit on the couch, before you break your foot like I did. I hate the extra klutziness during pregnancy as well.
