    Take that Eric Carle!

    Yesterday, I went downstairs from the office to check on my kids. They were quiet - and that's never good news. Turns out the were both playing happily. My daughter was very busy in her room. She was going through all her books and removing the award stickers -The caldecott medal, etc. She was placing them on new books that she thought were better. She even went so far as to give the illustrators prizes to books with good picture and the writing prizes to the ones with good stories. Future librarian? Or just totally opinionated?

    that is awesome! opinionated? your kid?? I love that she undertook a totally "academic" pursuit on her own. I'd love her "list".
