Summer Blues for Moms?

Anyone else there?

I'm posting this afternoon while my 3 boys trying kill each other with their foam swords/shields in the backround...The result? Actual injuries, crying, hollering...etc. My attempts to stem the tide have been unsuccessful. Now I have succumbed to the noise and occasional tears...

I'm glad that they are all playing together, but..I sooo long for an adult to sit with today! DH is back at work after a 5 day weekend and I'm singing the blues, I guess.

Am I alone?

We went to the zoo today. It was really busy, my kids weren't staying close by...I am glad to be back home. But I was definitely feeling like that two weeks ago -- constant fighting! It seems to ebb and flow.

Nikolai turned into the child that everyone dislikes today. (me included) I think he's getting molars which I'm sure must hurt but he's been a raging jackass all day. On the up side, we found a nice daycare center that's local and he's going to start on Monday.

Yay.
