  • kids and dinner

Most nights I try to have a good dinner...a hot meal if you will. Tonight dh isnt home so I made grilled cheese and cut up some apples, grapes and strawberries. I think it is a complete waste of time to make hot meals anymore....the kids gobbled up the food tonight...where as I would normally have to coax/beg/plead for them to eat any other type of meal.

janet, didnt i just tell you that when your kids are hungry, they will eat? hmmm...take my own advice and stop the beg/plead/coax and occasional bribe tactic.

Sounds like a pretty good meal to me! And easy, too. I don't make anything too involved when DH isn't home (which is a lot of the time!). Though I'm trying to educate her palate, DD prefers the simple stuff. She'll take a grilled cheese sandwich over a Thai green curry any day.
