  • You're eating WHAT?

I was in the garden hanging clothes out to dry when i bent down to find what i thought was mud in my 17 months old mouth (he's now 2 1/2) it wasn't mud....it was dog poo, i got it out so fast and rinsed his mouth out and then started gaggin myself, i even feel like gagging remembering it!! I rang the hospital to check with tox base and apparently its harmless, i gave him treatment for worms just in case!!

We don't have a dog but my parents had had there dog over the weekend before.

While living in MI, we used to get inundated w/ orange ladybugs in the early fall. I was constantly running the vacuum sucking up the dead ones around the fireplace...needless to say DS grossed me out on a few occasions when I would find one in his mouth...the worst part was when I'd suddenly here an ever so faint crunch coming from his mouth ::
DD#1 while playing outside would find olive pits my in-laws had spat out and pick them up and chew on them...I was always harping on them to place them in a napkin!!!!!

i'll answer since she may or may not be on again soon (w/the new baby). it is a frog leg and she's blowing on it before eating it. We had discussion about it awhile ago when she changed the avatar.

The most disgusting thing I have seen my kid eat....

Ds2 was happily sitting on the floor with my shoe in his lap. I didn't even notice that he was eating anything until I saw him pick the gum out of the bottom of my shoe and put it in his mouth. I fully expected him to drop dead from some horrible disease. :disappointed:

My kids don't seem to eat gross things - but they touch stuff and then put their hands in their mouths.

When we were in Alaska my girlfriend's daughter picked a mint up off the ground (we were in the mountains at a resort) and popped it in her mouth before we caught her.

Hey- I used to eat gum off the playground all the time and look how normal I am.....hahahahahaha.

(seriously, I did because we weren't allowed to have gum. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do)
