waiting to happen. so again, youngest dd...the tooth eater....has struck. a few weeks ago she took the chicken tray and wrapper out of the garbage. when i walked into the kitchen she was SUCKING on the little paper thingy that soakes up the juices in the container. OMG, i just about lost it. i washed her arms, hands, face and mouth with antibacterial soap. that weekend i got one of those stainless steel garbage cans with the lids hoping it would deter her. no such luck. just now she was walking around with the shrink wrapped plastic casing that pork roast comes in. *sigh* she was....sucking on it. :thud:

wow. she's determined! at least mine go for the good stuff -- it's messy and pisses me off, but marshmallows, chocolate sauce and / or strawberry ice cream are not likely going to cause disease.

they probably would get into the good stuff .....except i have a lock on the fridge....and because youngest dd is a climber my kitchen chairs are tied together. :> not much they can get into!

O.K. this one gave ma a gag response...

We have that type of garbage can and then Parenting has these strap clips that attach with sticky so that you can latch the can closed. I got them at Target. DS did the same thing...although not raw meat juice....

Yeah, the ones we put on the fridge, oven and dishwasher have long since come off, but the garbage is holding strong
