I was wondering how this went, Sylvia! Good for him! Your daughter's reaction is sweet.
The first time my oldest went to preschool (as a 2 year old) he went right in and got involved with something. I was trying to play it cool and not hover too much, but I thought I should let him know I was leaving. So I went over and *tried* to get his attention (he was a pretty intense child -- still is) to say good-bye. I tapped him on the shoulder finally, and he turned around, looked me right in the face, and screamed (really, it was more like an enraged yell) at me. So much for playing it cool. I guess he was fine with me leaving! I am in my 10th and final year of having a child in preschool.....it is an exciting time for them and so fun to watch! Enjoy it!

i mentioned in another post that ds was sick with a gross green booger snot cold (shudder) :! . here i was all worried i would be exposing other kids if i brought him to school. DUH! that is where he most likely picked it up. noone else at home is sick. *sigh* i should have just brought him and given the germs back. now, im being charged for both days and he only went one.
nellie, annie, how is it going with your girls?~shacked up with an ob/gyn~

The morning drama is greatly reduced. Of course, I'm jinxing myself because the kids woke up at 5:45am and are going to be tired but that is a different brand of drama. I think we are getting used to the preschool 2x/week. I'm not doing anything extra to make those non-preschool mornings fun beyond the usual stuff we have planned.
