Honestly...I think he'll be just fine....and you will to! Kindergarten is a huge adjustment for us moms too and most teachers really do care and understand.

I have to say, I usually tell the parents about things like this only because the kids will usually tell their version of the story when they get home and I like to address it before it comes out in 4yr old speak. Especially at the start of a school year when I have a room full of parents who don't know me or my teaching style. I have 4's and 5's in my class but this year I have a bunch of young 4's so I like to clear things up with the parents before they go home each day.
