Where have you found good nursing bras? Mine from 3 years ago aren't cutting it. Sorry if TMI.

I like the Bravado ones and I've heard the ones at Title 9 are nice too (on-line, don't think they are in the store).

No kidding. Whatever. And didn't realize it until I was already at the pool with both my kids ready to go in. :>

Off topic, I outgrew my maternity swimsuit.

I don't even wear nursing bras anymore. I just get the soft-cup demi ones from Victoria's Secret. Pull the boobage out to nurse, tuck the boobage back in when done I was forever forgetting to close a snap or something on my old nursing ones, and often walked around lopsided. Plus these old girls need more support than I have been able to find in a nursing bra.

This is the one I have:

It's not cute by any means, but it fits me well and is comfortable and the snaps are easy to do/undo.

Target even has some decent ones (and my girls are not for the weakly-elasticed).

Since my girls grew to gigantic proportions (seriously), I ordered mine online at biggerbras.com I have a Goddess and a Fancee Free. I like the Fancee Free one the best though b/c it has adjustable hooks for the flaps but the straps are a little loose...and I can hook it back on with one hand. The Goddess one though is more supportive.

If you have a mastectomy lingerie shop in town, they might have nursing bras...and they usually have the odd (big cup) sizes.

I just wear sports bras and pull them out as needed.

I have big "nursers" and this has been the best bra--it definitely looks much bigger on me then this model. I actually had it custom fit by a retired lactation nurse who sells them out of her house. She is really helpful and would probably baby to send it if wanted. PM if you want her info.

Thanks for all the replies. I am going to explore all these websites. Today I followed Rebecca's suggestion. Duh, why didn't I do this earlier than spend a whole month being poked by underwire? Did I say my brain is mush?

I have ordered the "pretty sleep bra" and love love love it. It was finally w/ my 3rd that one of my best girlfriends said to just go w/ a really good sleep bra...she's was right...I very seldom use my traditional hook & eye closure, front door models... oh BTW they give you free shipping on any order over $20.00!!

I have these and I love them -

You can buy them online, but I found it at my local lingerie boutique. I have 2 and alternate them during the week and use the bravada's for the weekends.

I, too, have a good set of nursers on me. When I got pregnant with #1, I never new bras went up the size that I have to now where pregnant and while I am nursing. The joke in the house is dh works to pay for my boobs, and my feet (had foot surgery hence I have to invest in good shoes- Mephisto, Dansko, etc.)

Anyway, I LOVE Bravado- they have a new line out that is really good, and I love Anita. I am still bummed there isn't a good specialty lingerie or nursing store in my area.
There is something to be said about being custom fit, especially when you are on the large side.
