My hands!!!!!

Don't get me wrong...I'm thrilled to be expecting again. What is driving me nuts is that I am developing pregnancy related carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands!!! I hate it... they go numb on & off as of now...if it's going to be like my last pregnancy they will be numb for the last trimester and at least 3 to 4 mos post! It wouldn't be too bad but changing diapers, helping to dress people w/ all those little snaps & buttons, trying to cut things in the kitchen, so many of the little tasks become challenging. Did anyone else go through this??

Yes, and it stinks. Luckily I've only had it for the last few weeks or so. My hands are so swollen, I swear it is affecting my fine motor skills (like icing cookies ).

I blamed all the swelling during my first pregnancy on the summer heat. It wasn't so bad last time around. This time, my ankles are gone and most of my shoes no longer fit. Just a few more weeks....

I started to get bad tingling in my hands and my fine motor skills were shot....I don't know what I would have done if I'd have gone another 9 weeks...must've been the fluid, huh? It went away after I lost about ~30 pounds of fluid.

I get the tingling if I lean on my hands or put weight on them. It's driving me mad. Justification for induction by reason of insanity.
