We had a babysitter for a get together tonight. She called right as she was supposed to arrive and said the family she nannies for was insisting that she stay to sit for them tonight. She told them she already had to sit for someone else( us) and the mom said, well i swear I told you we needed you tonight. The babysitter then told us that the mom had called her roomate and asked her if she could sit tonight so she was obviously caught in her own lie. That mom had the sitter call me and ask if we could reschedule our plans or only be gone an hour. We said ummmm nooooooooooooo.
So the sitter came over sobbing, saying she was worried she would get fired from her nannying job, so we told her just to go back over there. She told us that the mom who is a SAHM with a nanny, had been gone since 8am doing errands, and had plans to go to a movie with her sister
of all things!!! WE We ended up taking two fussy sleepy girls over to the party just to drop off the food we were supposed to bring.
She knowingly put us out of our evening and stole our babysitter! I cannot BELIEVE the nerve of that woman!!!
