Lily, that wait seems ridiculous. I have a friend who has been in the process for 18 months now and will be picking her daughter up in China in January. Not only that, but the first half of this, she was going to adopt a child from Ethiopia until they closed their doors so to speak. Do you want her contact info, or her agency name?Comment

The Olympics in China was what bogged down the adoption process there- along with some new rules regarding adoptive parents.
LSW- My brother's next door neighbors adopted both sons from Korea. Baby boys delivered to Dulles airport! I'll get their agency information. My parents had a big party a few years back and there were five toddlers- one from Russia (mine), one from Korea (the neighbors) and one from China (my room-mate from college's sister's kid), and two American kids.
Our agency only does China, Vietnam and Russia. I can ask Linda (the director) for some referrals for Agencies that go to Korea if you'd like.
I'll shoot them an email right now.
