  • A thank you

Our friends, formerly of the 'hood, adopted their daughters from China. Kathleen posted this to her facebook page today- it's from their eldest daughter Jamie Min. (some days she goes by Jamie, some by Min and some days she likes both. keeps us on our toes)

"Mom and Dad, Thank you for taking care of me and getting a house for me to live in. Thank you for buying me food and water to live. I also want to thank you for buying me presents for my birthday and buying clothes for me. Thank you for finding a school for me and getting school supplies for school. But most of all, thank you for adopting me. I'm grateful for so much. Have a great Thanksgiving. From Jamie."

That's an incredibly sweet thing for her to write to her parents! It puts so much of life into perspective.
