    "Namaste"

"and then you put your hands in 'Airplane Hold', mommy."

I did tell you he was going to the crunchy school, right? and that they have yoga twice a week?
OMG- I burst out loud laughing and had him show me 'airplane hold'.

I am SO glad I'm not teaching the under 7 set but more power to them.

Stinkin' cute but can I ask what is the "airplane hold?" and is he speaking Japanese? Is he talking about kowtowing? I love kids. His school sounds great!!

      Re: Namaste

Namaste is Sanskrit for something like "the good in me recognizes the good in you". You say it before and after yoga classes.

That is absolutely adorable. Namaste right back at ya, Nikolai. Teach him to sit in the lotus position and do ohmmmmmmmm. Or better yet, sit on the potty and do ohmmmmm while waiting for the magic to happen.

        Great school!

I love kiddos doing yoga. After some lessons in her old school, Kendall would occasionally stop what she was doing, no matter where we were, and drop into a restorative pose. A little "om" in the middle of Target can't hurt, right?

Actually, they should probably require it over the Christmas shopping season. "Attention shoppers, please sit w/ your legs crossed. You will find yoga mats on shelf one in every aisle..."
