    Babysitters

    What are some good things to go over with a potential babysitter? I haven't done this in literally YEARS so I know that I am forgetting some important ones. I have a college gal coming over this afternoon so that we can meet her.

    Sorry I'm so late in responding:

    I would ask:
    What are your strengths as a babysitter?
    Tell me a difficult situation or child you've handled as a babysitter.
    What would you do if my child got sick while I was gone?


    And always ask for references!
