    Ladies,

Is there a sling out there that will allow me to "hold" Adele like this?

She could be content like this for hours.

    TIA!

Hotsling? http://www.hotslings.com/ I've never tried one myself.

        No idea.

You look far too composed to have a newborn. Motherhood suits you!

          You both look cute!!

A pouch, a ring sling, a mei tai and a wrap can all be used for a forward facing babe pretty easily....most of the time they are called "buddha carries."

In my hands, a ring sling, a pouch and a rebozo (short wrap) are the best for this. All are one shouldered carries....the RS is adjustable, the pouch isn't but when sized right is quicker to throw on and less to carry around...the rebozo takes the most work (tying the knot) but can be used in other ways (ie rucksack back carry). All can be used for hip carries when she's able to sit up.

I never did the sling thing, but that is exactly how I held all my kids! You both look great!

Thanks ladies, don't let the picture fool you, I just got back from the hairdresser!

              Thanks for the suggestions.

I think the Hug-A- Bub can do that, and I know the Moby wrap can. Good luck.

I have a Hotsling, and that is how I carry Lorien around. She loves it. (Thanks to Nellie for telling me about Hotslings.)

I used to carry Kenny like that in the Hotsling. We've now invested in an Ergo since he figured out how to lean out of the sling.

I thought you told me about Hotslings. I was going to suggest that too. TenE was in a carrier all the time and I needed to have the weight on both shoulders so the hotsling didn't work for me (my shoulders hurt after a while). I agree though that a pouch like that would work.

A friend used this in that position (basically the same as a hotsling but maybe some additional fabric options):

But follow Michele's advice -- she's got that babywearing down.

I LOVE my Pea In A Pod Pouch, and w/DD 2 1/2 still pull it out from time to time - especially in the airport! It's ADJUSTABLE!!! Love it!!! It's made VERY VERY well, and is from organic fabric And, it's made by a mama who has a child with cancer, so I felt very happy my purchase was for another fellow mama
