    I can totally tell time by my boobs.

    Every 2.5 hours, like clockwork. OW!

    When not driving across 4 states it wouldn't be a problem, but the baby sleeps so well in the car that we've been having to wake her when we stop to feed her. So I get sore, tell dh we need to find our next stop, then wake her.

    Just passed a sign that said 172 miles to KC, so not too much more of this, thankfully!

    This made me laugh. But, I do remember when my kids were babies waking them to feed just to get the girls some relief!

      So true. When people are like "oh, you should leave the baby with a bottle and just get out and take some time away from her for yourself" it's like yeah, I need her as much as she needs me, actually. More than one of us will end up cryin' if I'm gone too long.

        I definately remember those days and the pure torture it was when he started sleeping through the night!

          LOL, last week at playgroup a mom showed up with her firstborn son but not her 2.5 week old baby (left her with family.) After a couple of hours she started grabbing her chest and began to take her leave, saying, "I think the baby will be hungry soon!"

          I was totally impressed because I'm pretty sure Eddy's first 6-8 weeks were one big growth spurt. I don't recall ever getting 2.5 hours straight without nursing!

              It's really b/c we were driving. Now that we're home she's not so interested in waiting 2 whole hours.

                I was thinking the same thing. I don't think I once needed to wake Mr. J to nurse him!
