    I have a friend who turned her son around when he was 9 months old ... he would cry and scream and tear his hair out whenever they drove anywhere. Turning the seat around made a HUGE difference for them!

    Ok, back to the original question: Yes, both of my kids just kind of bent their legs and were fine.

      So we just got back from her first trip in it and she seemed to be fine with it. Since she's sitting up much higher now she spent most of the trip looking out the window.
      Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.
