  • My razor became bad guy toothbrush - DS sliced lip

In the chaos to get DH off to work this evening - left DS (3) in bath - very quiet - I walk back as DS calling "mommy, I've got lots of red on me!" I look at DS and see that blood is everywhere! Bad Mommy! For the first time EVER - DS interested in my razor and decided to use my razor as the "bad guy toothbrush and fight it with his mouth. Bad Mommy! Luckily, cut on lip not too big and stopped with the boo boo bunny ice thingie. Though DS did try to milk it and started demanding ice pops and ice cream.

Yes, he was fine but it could've been much worse. I feel horrible b/c of it. He has never been a real curious kid so I have never had to really pay attention to that kind of stuff. Positive of it is my 2nd DS is VERY curious (even at 7 1/2 mo old) so this will get me in the right frame of mind.

                YIKES!
Glad he's okay -- I was the cautious child, my two siblings were daredevils and I would stress out about their adventures.

When I first read this I thought it said your DH not your DS. Either way, ouch!

Oh my! DH always leaves his razor on the sink. And I always immediately put in into the medicine cabinet. I could so see DS1 doing the exact same thing.
