Those are AWESOME! Now I have to work to get Mattie into sesame street so I can do one of the simpler ones for her 2nd birthday.

Cheri - fondant isn't as hard as I thought it would be. I did Mattie's birthday cake in it (and would post a picture here if I could ... it's beyond me). The brand is key. Satin Ice is much easier to work with -- and actually tastes good.

Jenn, where did you get that brand? My problem is my only options are Hobby Lobby & Micheals and they only seem to carry Wilton. Maybe I could order it.

I'll put it up on FB. I'm stuck at home waiting for my freezer to be delivered anyway.

gotta chime in for the ladybug, it's just so sweet, and looking back at pics I'd bet DD would like it, too... My 8 year old would!

Our boss got us a Sesame Street Birthday cake today - in honor of Sesame Street's 40th Birthday.... totally random I know.

He said it is to remind us “sunny days, chasing the clouds away, on my way to where the air is sweet, can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street."

So we had A's party yesterday and it was a lot of fun. One of DH's friends and his family, including their son that is almost exactly 2 months younger then A attended as well as our parents. A few pictures:

How did my baby girl get so big so fast?

Those cakes and pops look great! And they were transported? They held up really well!

I made the cake in KC but yes, the cake pops were transported from MN.

Wow, Cheri! Can you make my future kids' birthday cakes? Those cakes look like serious competition to the people from "Ace Of Cakes"!
