It's hilarious to see him run and jump back into bed! I won't lie, DH has used some Star Wars quotes.

My little sister has one that you can talk through and it was hilarious to watch when I was visiting. Her husband talked to her 2 year old and she was totally trying to figure out where the voice was coming from, it was very funny.

        Sorry, I'm no help!

So we bit the bullet and ordered the Motorola MPB33 video monitor from Amazon. BabyJ started sleeping in his crib last night, and I couldn't stand not knowing what was going on in there. I'll have to add an update on here once we start using it, in case anyone is looking for video monitor recommendations in the future.

Sorry I'm late to the party but we have the Motorola (gift from DD's godfather) and we LOVE it! I like that it can pan around because she does move on her mattress (she sleeps on a twin bed mattress, not a crib) and we can also talk via the monitor. So far we've only used that feature to speak to each other but I imagine it would come in handy when she's older.
