  • Thanks neighbor lady!

So, the neighbor lady might just be my new best friend. She works at the same hospital as DH. She reminded me twice that the hospital will sell diapers AT COST to it’s employees!!!

I honestly didn’t believe her when she first told me. I asked DH to go and check it out today. DH just emailed me and it’s a true story!! He bought a box of 240 Pampers for $22. Score!

We get a similar deal at DD's nursery school. You can bring in your own diapers or pay a nominal (really nominal!) monthly charge for as many as needed while she's there. She's there five days a week, so her butt must use up a LOT. It is a big savings!! I really use only 3 per day (one in morning, two in evening) at home. Sometimes, if I pick her up late and they've just changed her, I get away with only one change, right before she goes to bed. Seriously, big $$$ savings!

My sister does that through her hospital - it was a huge financial help.

My BIL is a pharmacist at a hospital in town and he supplies us with cheap infant tylenol and chewable motrin.

The other day, Sophie's nose was soooo stuffy that she couldn't sleep. He was able to get a bottle of the Little Noses with decongestant for us. We would have had to order it from any other place including walmart or walgreens.

Nice perk! That is the kind of thing they don't tell the residents about or even if they do.....the men don't listen!
