I feel like a new mom this morning. Robert slept in a 3 hour chunk followed by several 2 hour chunks where he would wake up, eat, get changed and go right back to sleep last night. Adele slept until 8:15 - yay!

We're bottle feeding expressed breastmilk and he's currently sleeping in his car seat because he has a little reflux and I think we're all happier.

Yay for sleep! I still do a cheer when Lauren has a three hour stretch (she's not a great sleeper unfortunately...)

The good news is it will hopefully get better in a few weeks. I remember how hard that first month was with only one.

Adele is doing...ok. She definitely has some jealousy issues so I'm trying to spend more time with her when I can, she figured out how to turn the pages on the books yesterday so I can read to her and she can turn the pages if my hands are full. I think that will help, books are her life! She also tries to help but is a little rough, today she tried to give Robert his bottle. He usually ends up crying when she tries to "help." I think its getting better though, at least I hope so

It sounds like once she gets the hang of it, Adele is going to be a fantastic big sis! Yeay for the sleep!

Cheri..we're living in the land of sleep deprivation here, too. Glad that you got a good night. I don't know if I posted this before or not, but when DS was born, DD had everything doll sized set up right next to what I had for DS (a doll swing next to baby swing, doll crib next to real crib, etc). When I was doing anything with DS that she couldn't help with, I would have her do the same for her baby doll. It worked really well and helped curb some of the jealousy, I think. Hang in there - the sibling stuff is tough!

                      I wouldn't call 3 hours a small victory. It's HUGE!!!

Yay for Adele and page-turning. It must be very cute!
