  • Biting

Today I gave Sophie her bath and found 3 bite marks on her back. Both yesterday and today she was at YWatch, the drop in daycare at the YMCA. I was not notified of the incident. I know it must have happened there because she just isn't around other kids. My nephew visited for a bit yesterday, but he only has 3 teeth and the kids were never alone together - they squack at each other too much.

I called this evening and left a vm for the coordinator, but have a feeling that this will just be blown off. If it does, I don't know what I will do. The only reason I can afford the Y is because we are getting a scholarship (thank you poverty). There is no way we can afford to go to a different gym. Honestly, I am finally starting to see the results of exercising more and I don't want to give it up. I've lost 3" around my hips and 3" more around my waist.

How have you handled biting incidents before?

They may not have seen it- which may be why you didn't hear about it. (of course, the not seeing it part has it's own problems.

I'd take the wait and see approach and see what they say (if anything) about it.
