  • Prayer request

My cousin's daughter was born 4 months ago with Downs Syndrome. She is undergoing open-heart surgery tomorrow to repair a VSD that has been enlarging not closing. She has been having a lot of trouble breathing and feeding the past week or so, and currently has congestive heart failure.

If you could send some iMSN mojo their way - I'd appreciate it!

I will be praying for her -- my cousin has Downs and had a similar surgery as an infant. He's now 23.

Thinking of your cousin's sweet little girl and hoping that all goes well with the surgery. DF's sister has Downs and had a similar surgery also at a very young age.

Talked to my cousin yesterday, and Avery's surgery went very well - she is resting in the ICU for the next 3 days, and is supposed to remain hospitalized for up to 10. Thanks for all your support!
