Ah yes - this was my DD's issue too (re the swaddling and falling asleep). Things got a lot easier once I could get her off the nipple shield. But I often felt it was a two person job. One person to hold down the arms and the other to do the latching. It WILL get easier - hang in there, you are doing great!Wife to a urologist; Mom to 2 wonderful kiddos
